Warbirds Squadron 7

Boire Field,Nashua, NH

  Welcome to our Squadron

Warbirds Squadron 7 is the New England Chapter of the EAA Warbirds of America.

There are regional Squadrons throughout the country.

Warbirds of America is a nationwide family of owners, pilots and enthusiasts of "Warbirds" or ex-military aircraft. Warbirds of America is a division of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) in Oshkosh, WI.

The EAA is a diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds.

EAA was founded in 1953 by a group of individuals in Milwaukee, WI.

Warbirds Squadron 7 's purpose is to engage its members in a broad range of experiences that celebrate the history of military aviation. Activities include practicing and honing our skills in formation flight with vintage aircraft, cookouts, static displays, participation in events organized by Chapters of the EAA and events organized by the Warbirds of America.

The Squadron is structured within a formal organization with an article of incorporation and a set of standard by-laws which follow the guidelines provided to us by the Warbirds of America and EAA
The Squadron is governed by a Squadron Commander, a Adjutant (Secretary-Treasurer) with regional liaisons throughout New England who provide an informal communications link between the Squadron and the membership in their community.
The present officers and liaisons for the Squadron are:
Thomas Schinkel, Commander
Frank H. Hoff Jr., Adjutant-Treasurer

Sofia Byrne, Regional Liaison, NH

Anyone with an interest in military aviation can become a member of the Squadron.

Members are from all over New England.

Members include doctors, lawyers, policemen, engineers, consultants, home builders, aircraft mechanics, government officials, entrepreneurs, investment bankers, retired military and the like.

Squadron monthly meetings are normally held on the third Saturday of the month in Nashua, NH at , but can be scheduled anywhere in New England.

The Annual Meeting is typically in November.

Members vote at the Annual Meeting and they are entitled to participate in all Squadron 7 activities.

The annual Squadron dues are $20.00 per person. We recommend that members who join the Squadron join the Warbirds of America

If you are interested in joining the ranks of Warbirds Squadron 7, all you have to do is fill out the registration form and remit with the annual dues to our Squadron Adjutant Frank Hoff. Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy ex-military, or "warbird" airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Squadron. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft restorers, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.
